Over the past month we’ve spent a large amount of time driving everyday cars on a super secret test track. Its in the Natal Midlands and is amazingly quiet. Perfect for recording.

All cars were recorded with Multi microphones setups.

The driveby setup included, Spaced DPA4061 Omni mics, Two Shotgun mics following the cars and a Senneheiser M/S rig. Onboard driving setup included a stereo for interior as well as DPA mics on engine and exhaust.

 

The Sound Effects will be released as part of the “Cars” library by Boom Library .
